PavOra – A Space Booking System with Google Workspace: Case Study

Can Google Sheets be turned into a smart and reliable booking system for spaces, meeting rooms, or — as in my case — entire exhibition halls?
My answer is PavOra: a web app fully built with Google Apps Script, designed for events, fairs, and shared facilities, with no scheduling conflicts and built-in control features.

In this article, I’m sharing an introductory video showcasing its key features, along with the link to download and try it yourself. In the next articles, I’ll provide step-by-step guides for installation, setup, and advanced usage.

Key Features:

  • Multi-language support (IT/EN)
  • Conflict-free booking
  • Multi-user access
  • Gantt-style calendar view, editable reports, automatic reminders
  • Floor plan visualization of daily occupancy
  • Easy installation with Google Sheets

➡ PavOra is already running in real-world scenarios and keeps evolving. This is just the beginning — upcoming articles will dive deeper into each feature.
